GL Transmission Format Binary

GLB is the binary container for glTF 2.0, the "JPEG of 3D" standard maintained by the Khronos Group. A single .glb file bundles meshes, PBR materials, textures, and animations, which makes it the easiest 3D format to move between tools and platforms.

Because GLB is optimized for fast loading on the web, it is the default output of most modern 3D pipelines, including AI 3D generators, web viewers, and game engines.
