Generation modes
Compare Single Image, Text to 3D, and Multiple Images so you can choose the right workflow.
Modelfy 3D supports three user-facing generation modes. Each mode is optimized for a different starting point.
Single Image
Single Image is the fastest way to turn an existing picture into a 3D model.
Use it when:
- You have a clear photo of one object.
- You want a quick model for preview, iteration, or downstream conversion.
- The object shape is visible from the front or three-quarter view.
Supported quality choices include Standard, Pro, and Ultra, depending on your plan and available credits.
Text to 3D
Text to 3D creates a model from a written prompt.
Use it when:
- You do not have a source image.
- You want to explore concepts before creating final reference art.
- The object can be described with clear shape and style details.
Text to 3D supports Standard, Pro, and Ultra. Ultra pricing depends on whether textures are enabled.
Multiple Images
Multiple Images uses several views of the same object. It is designed for higher detail object reconstruction.
Use it when:
- You have multiple images of the same object.
- You need the strongest shape guidance.
- You are ready to use the Ultra workflow.
Multiple Images currently uses Ultra quality with textures enabled and costs 50 credits.
Texture option
When texture is enabled, the result includes visual surface detail for presentation workflows. When texture is disabled, the task focuses more on geometry and can cost fewer credits in some modes.
